Ingredients: 3.25 g psyllium, 1.2 mg sodium and 0.96 g sucrose per 5 g teaspoon. Acacia, flavours, iron oxide, paraffin, sucrose, talc titanium dioxide. Directions and Warnings: Adults: 1-2 teaspoons once or twice per day. Children 6-12 years: Half the adult dosage may be taken all at once or a little at a time. Do not chew. Do not swallow in dry form. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in the presence of esophageal narrowing or allergy to psyllium. As with all laxatives, do not take for more than 1 week, unless directed by your physician. Overuse or extended use may cause dependence for bowel function. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting are present. Do not take within 2 hours of another medication because the desired effect of the other medication may be reduced.
